Who Ryan Was
Ryan’s Refuge honors the life and legacy of Larry Ryan Bolton—a gifted writer, athlete, cook, and compassionate servant who knew both the pain of homelessness and addiction and the importance of helping others.
Ryan had a heart for people who felt overlooked or broken. Even while walking through his own struggles, he reached for others with generosity and compassion. His story reminds us that every person carries God-given worth, purpose, and the possibility of a new beginning.
